New hotel planned for 4th & Pine streets
Plans for a new hotel at the corner 4th and Pine Streets in Paso Robles recently received approval from city planners. The Oxford Suites Paso Robles will offer 127 rooms, plus 5,300 square feet of meeting space on a 2.45-acre lot. The vacant lot is near the tunnel under the railroad tracks to Highway 101.
The hotel will feature an outdoor pool, spa, sauna, and steam room, in addition to a full exercise facility. On-site catering will be available for meetings or conferences. Each suite will offer premium bedding, as well as a sitting areas and desk space. Specially designed pet friendly suites will be available as well.
The next step is for the developer to submit plans for a building permit. The hotel is expected to open in 2015.
