PASO ROBLES – Registration continues for the 4th Annual Paso Robles Harvest Marathon to be held Sunday, Oct. 27th, 2013. The Rotary Club of Paso Robles and The Paso Robles High School Athletic Boosters are pleased to announce the merger of the PRHS Athletic Boosters annual Wine Vine Run and the annual Rotary Paso Robles Harvest Marathon.
The day’s events include a full marathon, half marathon and a 5k run. The course will begin and end at Le Vigne Winery on Buena Vista Dr. in Paso Robles and will offer beautiful views of the vineyards and countryside at harvest time. The marathon is a Boston Marathon Qualifier and all races are sanctioned by the USA Track & Field.
All proceeds from the event will benefit the Paso Robles High School Athletic Department. Athletic Director Tom Harrington commented, “We have almost 700 student-athletes at Paso Robles High School and budget cuts in the past few years have made it difficult to keep our programs going. Our goal is to help students learn the skills necessary to succeed in life. The Paso Robles Harvest Marathon will contribute to helping us achieve that goal”.
Last year, Alex Ho, 29, of San Francisco won the marathon with a time of 3:01:06. Pepe Gonzales, 20, won the 5k race in 16:17.

Start time: Marathon and Marathon Relay Start time is 7:00am and the Rotary 5K is 8:00am. All Marathon participants will receive a finishers medal. Everyone will receive tech shirts and a goodie bag.
