900 San Miguel residents lose power

San Miguel power outage

A PG&E crew works on repairing a damaged power pole in San Miguel early Monday morning.

Electricity was knocked out for about 900 San Miguel residents when a driver struck a power pole shortly after 9 p.m. Sunday night. Pacific Gas and Electric crews were on scene earlier this morning fixing the outage.

At Mission Deli in San Miguel, workers had to replace a lot of milk that did not survive the interruption in refrigeration. The power was restored early this morning.
