Adoptable pet of the week: Cupcake

Cupcake4

–This edition of North County Adoptable Pets of the Week features black and white cat Cupcake.

Cupcake lived in Atascadero with her brother Frankie until their owner moved, and both she and Frankie were brought to NCHS. Now Cupcake lives with about 60 other cats at the North County Humane Society adoption center.

Cupcake is a senior girl, and of course, a lady never tells her age, but NCHS guesses she is around 11 years old. She is short haired, black with white and has a distinctive black chin. She is a quiet cat and is shy until she gets to know you, then she is very affectionate. She has been an indoor cat and might be a good cat for a senior. Cupcake has been spayed, vaccinated and micro-chipped, and she is ready to join the right household today.

NCHS has many cats available for adoption; they can be viewed on the website at www.slonchs.org. Potential pet parents are encouraged to visit and find the right cat for their family.

The North County Humane Society is located in Atascadero, just off of Highway 101 by the Del Rio Road exit, at 2300 Ramona Rd. They are open Tuesday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. More information is provided on the website, or call NCHS at (805) 466-5403.
