Adoptable pet of the week: Putter

Putter2–This week’s edition of North County Adoptable Pet of the Week features black cat Putter.

Putter is a 5 year old, male, short hair black cat with a mellow disposition. He was adopted as a kitten to an Atascadero family, but the family had to move and could not keep him. He has been at North County Humane Society for about 2 years.

Putter is affectionate and enjoys being held. He also likes toys, treats and a good meal. He waits for visitors to come up to him then insists upon attention and head scratches. NCHS staff says he is a friendly “every cat” and gets along well with everyone.

Putter has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped, and he is ready to go home with his new family today.

NCHS has many cats available for adoption; they can be viewed on the website at www.slonchs.org. Potential pet parents are encouraged to visit NCHS to find the right cat for their family.

The North County Humane Society is located in Atascadero, just off of Highway 101 by the Del Rio Road exit, at 2300 Ramona Rd. They are open Tuesday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. More information is provided on the website, or call NCHS at (805) 466-5403.
