Adoptable pet of the week: Brownie

brownie

–This week’s edition of North County Adoptable Pet of the Week is Brownie from the North County Humane Society.

Brownie is a friendly female, tortoiseshell cat who has been at NCHS for about 3 months. She previously lived in San Miguel until her owner had to move and could not take her along.

Brownie is a quiet, mellow cat and has spent her life indoors. She loves to stare out the window or nap on the NCHS outside sun porch. She was raised around children but would probably fit into a quiet household. At 8 years old, Brownie qualifies as a senior cat and is available for adoption to a senior person (55 or older) at no charge. She has been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped, and she is ready to go home with a new family today.

NCHS has many cats and kittens available for adoption; they can be viewed on the website at www.slonchs.org.  Potential pet parents are encouraged to visit NCHS to find the right cat for their family.

The North County Humane Society is located in Atascadero, just off of Highway 101 by the Del Rio Road exit, at 2300 Ramona Rd. They are open Tuesday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. More information is provided on the website, or call NCHS at (805) 466-5403.
