‘Art and Wine’ classes now offered at Vina Robles

Winery hosts local artists, provides ‘liquid encouragement’
Paso Robles’ Vina Robles Vineyards & Winery is hosting ‘Art and Wine Bar’ sessions at its hospitality center. Attendees are welcomed to awaken their creativity at this new art and wine bar as they take part in an afternoon of wine, food and friends at the Vina Robles Hospitality Center, located off Highway 46 East.
The Vina Robles Art and Wine Bar is a unique combination of painting class and wine party. The classes are taught by local artists, who guide the class step by step in creating a featured painting or craft project. Attendees are provided with a glass of estate wine, otherwise known as “liquid encouragement” to help their creativity flow. Beginners are encouraged and the environment is laid back, and supportive.
All materials for creating a masterpiece will be provided. A glass of wine is also included in the cost. Additional wine and charcuterie plates are available for purchase.
Upcoming classes
A resident artist will be instructing students on how to use enamel glass paints to create “look inside” flowers on Saturday, June 13.
Wine Glass Painting – Flowers
Sat. June 13 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
During this class, local artist Skye Ravy will help you re-create a special flower design step-by-step on a wine glass. No experience necessary. All materials will be provided. Leave with a personalized, dishwasher safe painted enamel wine glass. A glass of wine is included in the cost. Additional wine and charcuterie plates will be available for purchase. Also, be entertained with live music by the Pam Smith Duo as part of Vina Robles’ weekly Saturday Live series.
Art & Wine Bar – Beautiful Beginnings
Sun. July 12, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Artist Karyn Blaney will paint, “Beautiful Beginnings,” a painting of a lovely butterfly, and help you re-create it step-by-step on your own canvas. All materials for creating your masterpiece will be provided. A glass of wine is also included in the cost. Additional wine and charcuterie plates will be available for purchase.
Tickets are $50 per person and include a glass of wine and all materials; $40 for Vina Robles Signature Wine Club members.
