Art Empowers at Paso Robles Children’s Museum 

Series of free monthly art classes kicks off May 10

Art Empowers is a free monthly art class & exhibit offered for children ages 5 to 12 and their parents at The Children’s Museum at the Paso Robles Volunteer Firehouse.

A free monthly series of art classes and exhibits, Art Empowers, will be offered for children ages 5 to 12 and their parents and will kick off Saturday, May 10 from 10:30 a.m. to noon at the Children’s Museum at the Paso Robles Volunteer Firehouse, located at 623 13th St.

In partnership with Boyd & Bradley and Safeguard Print and Promo, the museum staff will be offering the free fine art instruction by the very talented Tisha Smith of Boyd & Bradley And Lauren Birkhahn of Dudleya Studio, two enthusiastic instructors who bring their love of art to the children via colorful and creative art projects.The classes will be 60-90 minutes in length; children under the age of seven must be accompanied by an adult.

At the first class on May 10, children will be creating butterflies; their art piece will remain at the museum for 30 days to be displayed in gallery-style frames for all to see.
