Atascadero looking for bands for summer concert series
The city of Atascadero is now accepting band applications for the Saturday in the Park Summer 2015 Concert Series. Applications are available at the Colony Park Community Center located at 5599 Traffic Way in Atascadero and on the city’s website at atascadero.org. All applications are due by no later than Friday, February 13, 2015 at 5pm. Late applications will not be accepted.
The concert series is promoted through many media avenues including radio, internet and print. Each selected band will be paid a one-time stipend of $250 on the evening of the respective concert. The City of Atascadero will provide an audio technician for each concert; personal audio equipment is not allowed.
The concert series will be held on most Saturdays throughout the summer of 2015. All concerts are held at the Atascadero Lake Park Bandstand from 6:30-8:30 p.m. and are free for the community.
