–Local accounting firm Glenn Burdette delivered more than 300 pounds of dried beans to the Food Bank Coalition of San Luis Obispo at its Paso Robles warehouse Wednesday morning.

In total, the 336-pound donation provides 3,024 servings of beans for the food bank to distribute to local families.

Why beans? The beans were part of the firm’s web series called “The Bean Bag Series” earlier this year. The bean bag used in all 9 videos was filled with bags of real beans, and now those beans will feed hungry families .

The firm also sponsored $15,000 in college scholarships this year. For more information on Glenn Burdette, visit their website.
