Bearcat Boosters to host annual Harvest Marathon

Harvest marathon

– The 6th annual Paso Robles Harvest Marathon will be held at Le Vigne Winery in Paso Robles on Sunday, Oct. 25. The event is sponsored by the Paso Robles Bearcat Boosters, a non-profit organization supporting all student athletes at Paso Robles High School, and Paso Robles Rotary. The marathon, half-marathon, and 5K courses will offer views of the vineyards at harvest time.

The event begins at 7 a.m. with the marathon runners, then at 8:30 a.m. the half marathon runners will depart the winery. This year, the 5K will start at 9 a.m. and will consist of a scenic run through the vineyard. All runners will receive a Harvest Marathon shirt, swag bag, free race photo, and breakfast. Prizes will be awarded to the top runners. This event is a certified Boston Marathon qualifier, sanctioned by USA Track & Field, and is recognized by the California Half and Full Marathon Series.

All runners are welcome to participate. The public is also encouraged to come out to Le Vigne, bring their lawn chairs, and view the event. The Le Vigne tasting room opens to the public at 11 a.m.

The Paso Robles Bearcat Boosters provide support for the approximately 680 student athletes competing in 23 sports at Paso Robles High School. All proceeds benefit Paso Robles High School Athletics.
