BeeWench Farm CSA shares now available

Local farm offers fresh produce delivery

SHANDON — BeeWench Farm announced they have CSA farm shares are available. CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture; a subscription based food delivery service.

“We’re really excited to offer fresh vegetables, meat and eggs to local residents,” said Sarah Jean, owner at BeeWench Farm.

Members sign-up for a share prior to the start of the season and each week, during the 10-week harvest period, members receive a share of the produce harvested at the farm. BeeWench Farm offers three seasons per year; spring, summer and fall. Members may sign up for one or all of the seasons.

The farm also raises pastured chicken and free-range eggs. Customers can add a whole chickens or a dozen eggs to their weekly delivery.

Founded in 2009, BeeWench Farm offers local foodies naturally raised vegetables, eggs, meat and milk in a CSA subscription and at local markets. All of the farm’s fare is grown without pesticides, herbicides or other chemical additives.
