Beppe Gambetta to perform in Templeton Feb 13
Concert raises money for music and arts program
–On Feb. 13 at 6:30 p.m. the Templeton Unified School District, in association with Matt’s Music, will host acoustic guitarist Beppe Gambetta in concert. This is the first 2016 concert for the Templeton Unified School District Music and Arts Benefit Program held at the Templeton Performing Arts Center. This benefit program is unique in that other than artist fees, all proceeds go directly to music and arts programs in the district.
The cost is $20 for a ticket. Doors open at 6 p.m. For tickets, contact Matt’s Music, located at 211 S. Main St., (805) 237-0054.
The Templeton Performing Arts Center is located at 1200 S. Main St. in Templeton.
About Beppe Gambetta
Gambetta has a background as an Italian musician who creates both American roots music as well as the music of his native country. While Beppe now lives in the United States, he travels around the world much of the year. His has participated in festivals like the Walnut Valley Festival in Winfield, Kansas, Merlefest in North Carolina, the Four Corners Festival in Colorado and Canadian Folk Festivals in Winnipeg and Edmonton, as well as events like the radio shows “All Things Considered” and “E-Town.” Beppe has also performed in prestigious rooms like the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
