Big rig accident closes Highway 101
A big rig accident on Wednesday on Highway 101 resulted in traffic lanes being closed as California Highway Patrol officers and tow truck drivers worked to clean up the scene. A large tractor trailer was rolled over in the center median and black tire marks scarred the roadway.
CHP reported a minor injury from the accident and had one man transported to Twin Cities hospital. There was a small diesel spill from the accident, CHP reported. Lanes on northbound and southbound Highway 101 were effected temporarily.
The accident happened at around 10:30 a.m. on a stretch of highway north of Paso Robles near Camp Roberts. There were no other details available at press time. Look for more to follow.
