Brochelle Vineyards opens new tasting room
Brochelle Vineyards recently announced the opening of its new tasting room, located on the corner of Vineyard Drive and Peachy Canyon Road, in rural Paso Robles.
Since 1998, proprietors Brock and Michelle Waterman have dedicated themselves to producing wines from varieties grown on their estate vineyard in the Adelaida District of Paso Robles. At the beginning, the Watermans sold their wines exclusively online and through distribution. They made the transition into offering tasting to the public in 2010 with a barrel room and modern tasting lounge in a warehouse located off Highway 46 east.
“It is with great excitement that we announce the opening of our new westside tasting room,” said Brock Waterman, winemaker and operator alongside his wife, Michelle. “This new location is the result of our long-time quest to locate the perfect spot for our customers to experience our wines. It has always been our goal to reflect the unique characteristics of our wines in a more idyllic wine country setting. This new location fits the bill perfectly!”
The new tasting room features a landscaped area and covered porch. “Perfect for picnics and soaking up the scenery while enjoying a glass of wine,” he said.
According to Waterman, Brochelle has been long known for their acclaimed zinfandel, the Watermans said that they “are very excited for this year’s Zin Fest celebration weekend.” Brochelle will be hosting live music and a wine-country BBQ to enjoy with their wines and new zinfandel vintage release at their new tasting room.
