Brush fire burns 4.5 acres

–A vegetation fire broke out Sunday evening in Paso Robles, according to reports. The fire began at 4:35 p.m. near the 1500 block of North River Road in Paso Robles.

Crews were able to contain the fire at 4.5 acres by 5:27 p.m. Seven fire engines, two hand crews, two dozers and a battalion chief responded.

Reports say that power lines were found down in the area, however it’s unclear as to whether the lines cause the fire or were a result. No injuries were reported.

The fire is still under investigation.
