Cal Fire warns of donation scams

IIIRS phone scamlegal solicitation for donations to Cal Fire reported in San Luis Obispo County

–Illegal solicitations for donations to Cal Fire firefighters have been reported in San Luis Obispo County, according to Cal Fire.

Cal Fire says it does not, and is not soliciting donations.

If you were contacted, please attempt to secure the caller’s name and contact number. Please report this information to the San Luis Obispo County District Attorney’s Office at (805) 781-5800.
