Candidate slate set for TAAG election on March 6

Seven candidates have stepped forward to run for a seat on the Templeton Area Advisory Group or TAAG. The seven will vie for six seats that include four voting positions on the board and two alternate positions.

The candidates include Sarah Marquart, Alison Carscaden, and Rebecca Pfeifer along with incumbents Sarah Maggelet, David La Rue, Jeff Debrish, and Keith Rau.

Chairman Bill Hockey is retiring after eight years of service on TAAG, as is past Chair Dorothy Jennings after 14 years. Jennings has also served as TAAG Traffic Circulation Committee Chair, and TAAG Toad Creek Study Committee Chair.

The election will be facilitated by the League of Women Voters and is scheduled to be held on Thursday, March 6 from 5 to 8 p.m. in the TCSD boardroom and Fire Station conference room.

All registered voters living within the Templeton Unified School District boundaries are eligible and encouraged to vote. Information on the individual candidates will be available for review within the next few weeks.
