Cellar 360 closes tasting room

Cellar 360 closed

The tasting room at Cellar 360 is closed.

Cellar 360 closed its tasting room at the end of June, sources tell the Paso Robles Daily News. About 14 local employees were let go as part of a larger corporate restructuring at Treasury Wine Estates, the winery’s parent company, according to a former employee. No one at the winery was available for comment.

The tasting room is located at 7000 Highway 46 East in the former Meridian Vineyards tasting room location. Cellar 360 poured a large selection of wines from around the globe produced by Treasury Wine Estates. The company owns dozens of wine brands including Beringer Vineyards, Greg Norman Estates, Meridian and Penfolds. Treasury Wine Estates is an Australian-based global winemaking and distribution company with an estimated 4,000 employees in 12 countries with sales of over 25 million cases of wine annually.

Bloomberg news recently reported the publicly traded company is the subject of a takeover bid by KKR & Co.
