Central Coast Oyster & Music Fest June 7

Oyster FestShuck yeah! The Third Annual Central Coast Oyster & Music Festival will take place at its new home in Avila Beach on Saturday, June 7 from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. It’s been voted No. 4 of the Top Ten Oyster Festivals in the Nation by FOX News.

The Central Coast Oyster & Music Festival will feature a range of amazing oyster preparations, the best wines, brews, exclusive cocktails, and a full lineup of knockout bands to play throughout the day under the most beautiful settings. The Producers vision has taken this event to a new level of visual design and thus creating a new level of experience.

“There are so many great wine, food, and entertainment events on the Central Coast that we’ve really concentrated on creating an experience unlike any other to equally highlight entertainment and art right alongside the food and wine experience.”

With sipping on libations surrounded by ocean views under amazing art installations, chefs from across the Central Coast will go head-to-head for the “Big O Award”, and the audience will be invited to taste their sumptuous efforts and have the opportunity to judge their favorite on the official Central Coast Oyster Festival mobile application to participate in the “Big O Award” People Choice.

While oysters will, of course, be the main attraction, other epicurean delights will also be available so plenty for oyster lovers and all others a true foodies dream. In addition to the delectable flavors of fresh oysters, the festival will include special art features such as whimsical structures from SpinCycle, a locally based event art installation company who first started at Burning Man creating beautiful designs and unique environments within the festival. SpinCycle will work alongside Bamboo DNA and Alchemy Arts Collective, based out of Santa Barbara, all are world-renowned for their interactive environments, event production and creative design. Prominently showcased at such high-profile gatherings as Insomniac Events and Coachella Music and Arts Festival, truly a perfect fit for the vision of this one of a kind Central Coast Festival.
