Chamber holding first-ever State of the City event
The Paso Robles Chamber of Commerce announced Thursday the first-ever “State of the City” presentation is scheduled for Tuesday, March 25 from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. It will be held in the Paso Robles Inn Ballroom.
The 2014 State of the City brings together the Paso Robles business and resident community with, city government leaders, to hear the annual economic report and learn about new strategies for the future. Speakers will include Paso Robles Mayor Duane Picanco and City Manager Jim App.
“The City has just completed the update to their 2006 Economic Strategic Plan and recently had an update on the fiscal health of the City,” says Chamber CEO Zoe Taylor says. “A great deal of progress has been made in just the last three years. As the City celebrates their 125th birthday, March is the right time for this most important report.”
“The Chamber has developed a new business plan that includes a stronger partnership with the City and a number of partners within the community this is the ideal time to present the State of the City program,” Taylor says. “It is the right time to begin the next phase of building a stronger diversified economy for the region of Paso Robles.”
