City council hosting candidate briefing
Briefing is opportunity for candidates, public, to understand key city issues
– The City of Paso Robles will be hosting a candidate briefing on Wednesday, Sept. 7, from 6 – 8 p.m. in the City Hall/Library Council Chambers, located at 1000 Spring Street, Paso Robles. Each city department will provide an overview of their operations and current priorities; they will also be available to answer questions. Members of City advisory committees are invited to attend as well as the general public.
“This will be a great opportunity for the candidates, as well as anyone interested in future public service, to get a flavor of some of the key challenges the city faces, and the important initiatives that are being undertaken.” stated City Manager, Tom Frutchey.
The City of Paso Robles has two city council seats up for public decision on the Nov. 8 ballot. Three candidates have qualified for that city council race. The positions of city clerk and city treasurer are also on the ballot, with only the incumbents running for those seats.
