City welcomes new maintenance specialist

New parks maintenance specialist Daniel Hernandez

Paso Robles city brings on city park professional

– The city of Paso Robles has welcomed new staff member Daniel Hernandez to its parks maintenance program in the capacity of parks maintenance specialist ll.

Hernandez’s experience as a dispatcher at Fort Hunter Liggett and as a park ranger with the county of Sacramento and the El Dorado irrigation district is a welcome addition to the Paso Robles city park crew. His background in a customer service role will serve him well while interacting with the residents of Paso Robles and in ensuring the city parks and greens are well-kept and beautiful.

Part of Hernandez’s job will be to maintain parks and infrastructures such as fences and walkways, as well as provide customer service by enforcing county ordinances, engage in customer complaints and questions, and respond to necessary weather elements concerning the parks. Hernandez’s position will ensure operating, maintaining and inspecting a  variety of apparatuses to maintain the city parks cosmetic appeals.
