Tisha Smith and Lauren Birkhahn’s latest exhibit will open Friday, May 16 in Atascadero at Dudleya, and Boyd & Bradley Art Studios.

As part of the Traffic Way Block Party, Tisha Smith and Lauren Birkhahn will hold an opening reception of their latest exhibit on Friday, May 16 from 5:30-8 p.m. in their shared studio, Dudleya, and Boyd & Bradley Art Studios, located at 5820 Traffic Way in Atascadero. The exhibit will end July 31.

The beautiful and fun pottery of Smith pairs playfully with the felted work of Birkhahn, an artist and painter. Birkhahn creates sculptures and images from sheep and some alpaca fiber that she sources locally, as well as from Oregon, that she hand-dyes.

Other shops joining in on the Block Party are Wilwand Tea, Grape Encounters Em-pour-ium, Olive Tree Gallery, Envisions Gallery, The Barrel Room, and The Artery; each shop will be holding separate events.
