Community foundation CEO nominee for top 50 women in business award

The Community Foundation San Luis Obispo County, or CFSLOCO, is pleased to announce that Chief Executive Officer Heidi H. McPherson has been named one of the top 50 Women in business in the tri-counties of San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, and Ventura by the Pacific Coast Business Times.

“We are so pleased that Heidi is being honored. She brings her passion for a relationship-based culture, along with her national experience and expertise. This will help us to build on the good work that has been accomplished by the foundation,” said Steve McCarty, CFLSOCO Board President.

Chief Executive Officer Heidi McPherson has 25 years of experience in philanthropy, brings a vision of a, “strong sense of community service,” and, “donor-focused philosophy,” to the Community Foundation San Luis Obispo County.

The Top 50 Women in Business Award, now in its ninth year, is one of several special reports produced by the Pacific Coast Business Times each year. This report profiles outstanding female business leaders, and this year’s honorees were featured in the special reports section on March 27.

An awards reception will be held Thursday, April 16, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Dockers Outdoor Corporation Rotunda, located at 2250 Coromar Drive, in Santa Barbara.
