Community read-aloud to be held at Templeton Performing Arts Center October 25

–Community Shorts returns to the Templeton Performing Arts Center on the campus of Templeton High School on Sunday, Oct. 25 with a theme of Finders and Founders. The program is set to begin at 4 p.m. and continue until 5:30 or 6 p.m.

The popular monthly series has been compared to public radio programs in which celebrities read some of their favorite short stories. The “celebrities” for the Templeton events are community members that perform their readings in front of a live audience. The program includes about five fiction stories, grouped by theme or author. Language and topics are for public entertainment, although it is not children’s story time.

Donations accepted at door; revenue raised from donations help pay for facility use and funding for North County Theatre Works.
