Council appoints new planning commissioners
At its regular meeting this week the Paso Robles City Council appointed its second new planning commissioner this year. Darrell Cooper was appointed to finish Rob Nash’s term. Nash resigned recently because a new job takes him out of town too frequently for him to regularly attend commission meetings, according to a city staffer.
On February 27, the council appointed John Donaldson as a new planning commissioner. Donaldson replaces Margaret Holstine, who was termed-out in the position.
Cooper is a retired battalion chief from the Bakersfield Fire Department. After a 31-year career he retired in in 2006 and he and his wife Cheri moved to Paso Robles. He is a member of the Paso Robles Rotary Club.
Donaldson is a Realtor with Re/Max Parkside Real Estate. He became a licensed real estate agent 12 years ago and moved to Paso Robles in 2007. He is a former president of the Paso Robles Association of Realtors. He owned and operated a concrete producing company in Yorba Linda California for 13 years.
The Paso Robles Planning Commission meets on the 2nd & 4th Tuesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. at the City Hall/Library Conference Center, 1000 Spring Street, Paso Robles.
