Council approves funding for main street association, chamber of commerce, wine alliance
$50,000 of additional funding awarded to nonprofits
–At their Tuesday night Paso Robles City Council meeting, the council authorized the extension and expanded funding for service contracts with the Paso Robles Downtown Main Street Association, the Paso Robles Chamber of Commerce, and the Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance.
Each of these non-profit groups have business missions that align with the city’s tourism marketing strategy, and whose activities contribute to the health of the local economy.
The contracts each have expanded service requirements and have been increased by a total of $50,000 through June 2017.
