—Former Deputy District Attorney and candidate for Assembly, Jordan Cunningham, has earned support from three members of the San Luis Obispo County Board of Supervisors. Those supporting Cunningham’s campaign to represent the county at the state level include: Supervisors Lynn Compton, Debbie Arnold and Frank Mecham.

“Jordan will provide the pragmatic leadership that our region needs in Sacramento,” says supervisor Compton. “I’m confident that his policies will promote job creation, enhance public safety, and ensure a stronger future for Central Coast residents, families, and business owners.”

For years, Cunningham worked on behalf of crime victims on the Central Coast as a member of the San Luis Obispo County District Attorney’s office. During this time, he prosecuted a wide variety of crimes – including fraud, assault, domestic violence, and environmental crimes.

Cunningham has also donated hours to the region’s youth as a volunteer coach and member of the Templeton Unified School Board. He is also the former President of the Central Coast Taxpayers Association, an organization dedicated to taxpayer education and government accountability.

“I have known Jordan for decades,” said supervisor Arnold. “He has always demonstrated a common-sense approach when tackling the issues facing our region and our residents. As our assemblyman, he will be an asset to the San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara communities that he represents.”

“I trust that Jordan’s experience and knowledge of the region will permit him to make educated decisions that move our communities forward,” said Frank Mecham.

Jordan Cunningham lives in Templeton with his wife, Shauna, and their four children.
