Spirit to Serve Our Communities Day veterans dinner will be held July 5
The Courtyard by Marriott Paso Robles employees will celebrate Spirit to Serve Our Communities Day by holding a free Veterans Appreciation Dinner on Tuesday, July 5, from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. The event is part of Marriott International’s worldwide initiative where employees and headquarters, from more than 4,400 managed and franchised lodging properties in 87 countries, deliver community service through volunteerism.
General Manager Jessika Jones said, by giving associates the opportunity to give back to their local areas, we carry on our company’s deep commitment to community involvement. “We want to help make Paso Robles and every community where Marriott operates, a better place to live and work,” she said.
The dinner will honor men and women who have served in the armed forces. Along with dinner, guests will be treated to wine tasting by Eberle Winery and live music. Dinner will include tri-tip, baked chicken, mashed potatoes, salad, garlic bread and drink. All non veterans may purchase discounted plates at $10 each, all proceeds will go towards providing care packages for active duty military serving overseas.
