Paso Robles jeweler broken into 

Break in occurred in the early morning hours at Daniels Jewelers

paso-robles-police logoDaniels Jewelers, located at 172 Niblick Road in Paso Robles, was broken into this morning at about 5.11 a.m., jewelry was stolen from two display cases within the store. The Paso Robles Police Department responded to the scene and are reviewing surveillance and forensic evidence in relation to the crime.

Store Manager Cindy del Castillo said the store received glass damage, the front door was shattered and some jewelry cases. Items that were stolen are confidential, she said.

Paso Robles Police Department Sergeant Todd Rehner said they were notified at 7.53 a.m. and were able to determine the burglary happened about 5.11 a.m. this morning. “Very minimal amounts of jewelry were stolen,” he said. “The store is still going through stock inventory but most items were in the safe at the time, the less expensive items in two remaining jewelry display cases were stolen. Officers dusted for prints this morning, looking for any forensic evidence, finger prints, DNA and footprints. There are currently no leads at this stage, but officers are reviewing surveillance cameras from surrounding businesses for any details of the crime.”
