Devon Vandergon promoted to building technician
–The City of Paso Robles has promoted Devon Vandergon to building technician. Vandergon presently serves as assistant project manager of the new land management system software configuration and implementation project.
Vandergon was born and raised in Atascadero. She graduated from University of California Santa Cruz with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management Economics. While in college, she managed students in dining services and held summer internships with the City of Atascadero City Manager’s Office and with the County of San Luis Obispo Housing and Economic Development Department. After graduation, she managed a local medical practice. In Jan. 2015, Vandergon came on board with the building division of the City of Paso Robles Community Development Department, as an administrative assistant.
As building technician, Vandergon will be more involved in department special projects, plan check and routing of permits, reporting department statistics to various agencies, and managing the public counter.
