Earthquakes strike near Templeton

3.9 magnitude earthquake, series of aftershocks recorded
–A 3.9 magnitude earthquake struck 9 km (5.59 miles) away from Templeton at approximately 3:58 a.m. Wednesday morning, according to Earthquaketrack.com. 853 people called in to report the quake.
A series of aftershocks continued to rattle the area: a 1.6 magnitude quake hit at approximately 4:03 a.m., a 2.4 magnitude hit at 4:53 a.m., and a 2.2 struck at 6:30 a.m.
