Elks thank veterans with recognition dinner 

veterans-day-at-elks-lodgeAbout 250 veterans, family members, volunteers and members of the Atascadero Elks Lodge #2733 enjoyed a dinner and a program honoring veterans on Wednesday evening. The Elks provided a free dinner to all veterans.

Colonel Bill Hatch talked about the Faces of Freedom Memorial in Atascadero. San Luis Obispo County Veterans Services Officer Dana Cummings talked about the contributions of all veterans. The evening was emceed by Gary Brill and included a Grizzly Academy Honor Guard. Volunteers from Boy Scout Troop #150 served dinner to the veterans and guests.
