Epoch Estate Wines hires Faith Wells for PR
Epoch Estate Wines announced Tuesday that it has hired Faith Wells to direct public relations at the winery. Wells comes with a background in PR, event management, and brand development. She will continue to build Epoch’s brand through media outreach and other creative avenues, the winery said in a statement.
“Faith’s diverse experience with media relations for large and small wineries, strategic events, and marketing brings a great vision and talent to our team,” said Bill Armstrong, owner/vintner of Epoch Estate Wines. “Her relationships and innovative thinking will continue to allow us to push boundaries.”
Most recently, Wells was event director for Visit San Luis Obispo County where she was responsible for strategic planning and implementation of the company’s signature event, Sunset Savor the Central Coast.
Upon moving back to the Central Coast in 2008, Wells was the communications director for Hospice du Rhône for four years. There, she was responsible for overall event strategy and execution as well as all marketing and communication duties including media and sponsor relations.
Wells is a Central Coast native who began her career at Meridian Vineyards in Paso Robles while obtaining an Agriculture Business degree from Cal Poly.
