The history of Erin Hanson and Paso Robles

Four years ago Erin Hanson, an already celebrated landscape artist based out of Los Angeles, discovered the rolling kaleidoscope hills of the Central California Paso region on a romantic getaway with her longtime boyfriend. It was love at first sight. Not long after Hanson embarked on a trip to gather inspiration for an upcoming series of paintings, intent on exploring the full California coast. This trip became a weeklong stay in Paso, waking before dawn to absorb Paso’s glistening hills and expansive beauty. As fate would have it a chance meeting and fast friendship formed with Studios on the Park founder, Anne Laddon.

Hanson now returns to Paso Robles regularly to gain inspiration and looks forward to her upcoming return to Studios on the Park to celebrate her newest and boldest work yet.
