Firefighters conduct fire training Monday
Paso Robles Department of Emergency Services firefighters will be conducting live fire training at 2921 Park Street on Monday, Dec. 29.
Look for smoke over Paso Robles on Monday as firefighters conduct structure fire training.
The training fire will begin at approximately 9 a.m. and end around 4 p.m. This training will not present any hazard to adjacent residences; however, smoke will be visible in the area from the fire.
The purpose of the this event is to provide our firefighters and fire investigators with training in various fire department disciplines including building search, rescue practices, vertical ventilation, forcible entry, fire attack and fire investigation.
Participating departments include Atascadero Fire Department, Templeton Fire Department, CalFire/SLO County Fire Department and members of the San Luis Obispo County Arson Investigation Taskforce.
