Firefighters douse fire before it spreads into house 

On Monday at 11:40 a.m. Paso Robles firefighters responded to a residential structure fire at 437 Rose Lane. On arrival at scene firefighters found an exterior fire extending into the garage; firefighters quickly advanced fire attack lines into the garage and extinguished the fire before it extended into the house.

All occupants of the building were able to safely exit at the time of the fire and no firefighter or civilian injuries were reported. The cause of the fire and total dollar loss are currently under investigation by fire investigators from the Paso Robles Department of Emergency Services.

A total of 12 firefighters from the Paso Robles Department of Emergency Services, CalFire/SLO County Fire Department and Atascadero Fire Department responded to the incident. Paso Robles Police Department assisted with street closures.
