Flooding, rock-slides block lanes of Highway 101 

–As of Friday morning, multiple events have caused issues on Highway 101 due to the storm systems passing through the area.Highway 101

Templeton California Highway Patrol responded to a call of a rockslide that was blocking both lanes of Southbound US-101 near San Marcos Road. The portion of the roadway was clear as of 8:30 a.m.

Templeton CHP was working two crashes on US-101 near Highway-58 over-crossing. Both of those crashes were non-injury, and they have been cleared. That portion of the roadway is currently free of any collisions or hazards.

As of 8:43 a.m. Templeton CHP is on the scene of a solo vehicle non-injury traffic collision, southbound US-101 just north of SR-58. They are working to clear that scene as soon as possible.

Templeton CHP has reports of standing water on southbound US-101, just south of Main Street in Templeton. Units will be in route just as soon as they can clear their current calls.

Templeton CHP is on the scene with a three-car crash on northbound US-101, just north of SR-58. More details on the crash are pending. One of the three vehicles has rolled over, and CHP has requested fire and medics for this collision. Unknown on any injuries yet. CHP has requested 2 tow trucks to help remove vehicles from this scene. Still no word on injuries.
