Fred Russell Haney Jr., 1946-2014

Fred Russell Haney Jr. was born July 31, 1946 in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas to Fred and Gracie Haney. He passed away in Merced, California on Oct. 28, 2014 at the age of 68. Fred owned and managed various restaurants in San Luis Obispo County for over 30 years. After eight years, he retired as a Train Conductor for Amtrak and CalTrains.

Visitation will take place Tuesday November 4, 2014 from 4:00 PM to 7 p.m. at Whitton Family Funeral Service, 740 W. 19th St. in Merced. A Graveside Service will be Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2014 at 1 p.m. at the Paso Robles District Cemetery in Paso Robles, CA.
