Friends of the Library hosts holiday extravaganza

freinds-of-the-libraryThe Friends of the Paso Robles Library celebrates the season with a Holiday Extravaganza, Friday, Dec. 5, 1-7 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 6, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Paso Robles Library Conference Room, 1000 Spring Street in Paso Robles. This family-friendly holiday kickoff is free to the community. During this fundraiser for the public library, shoppers pay no sales tax.

Bring the kids and camera for Santa Claus photos, popcorn, cookies, hot apple cider. Specialty gift shopping highlights jewelry, including earrings, tiaras, necklaces, and bracelets, Christmas home décor, and unique ornaments. Children’s area offers educational toys and more.

Over the past three years, the Paso Robles Friends of the Library has contributed almost $100,000 to supplement funding for the library. Funds are raised primarily by sales from the Friends Gift Store, used book sales, membership dues, and fundraisers such as this free event for the community.
