George Thorogood to perform on Today Show, later at Vina Robles
Thorogood will co-headline with Buddy Guy at Vina Robles on September 20
– George Thorogood And The Destroyers appeared today on NBC Networks’ Today Show, performing their song “Bad To The Bone” in the 9 a.m. hour.
The band, who just completed a co-headline tour with Brian Setzer this past weekend following a performance at Stagecoach Festival in Indio, California, in April, released “George Thorogood And The Delaware Destroyers” on Rounder Records on June 16. The group has plans to embark on an upcoming Fall tour, which includes a performance at the Vina Robles Amphitheatre on September 20.
The band is known for their worldwide hits: “Bad to The Bone,” “Who Do You Love,” “I Drink Alone,” “One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer,” “Move It On Over,” and more. They have performed more than 8,000 live shows, and have sold more than 15 million albums.
