Hidden Power Cycle hosting ‘Feed a Family’ food drive

Businesses can request a donation box by calling Hidden Power Cycle at (805) 239-8913.

Hidden Power Cycle Clinic, a Paso Robles motorcycle shop, is hosting its annual “Feed a Family Food Drive.” It’s first year they fed 10 families, and last year with partnership with the Hispanic Business Association they fed 50, with about 20 families coming from Ft. Hunter Ligget and the rest in the Paso Robles community, according to organizer Ashley Harkey from the shop.

“This year we expect those numbers to increase as the drive has received more attention and support each year,” said Harkey.

The community can help in a variety of ways:

  • Request a donation box: businesses can request a donation box by calling Hidden Power Cycle at (805) 239-8913.
  • Donate food: donors can call for drop off locations.
  • Nominate a family: community members can nominate a family in-need that will receive a donation.

Non-food donations are also accepted. For instance, a local business decided to donate Christmas trees for needy families this year.

The boxes will be picked up from businesses on Dec. 18.
