High school to host softball clinic 

t-ball–Paso Robles High School will be conducting a softball skills clinic for girls in 3rd – 8th grades. The clinic will be held on Wednesdays in February from 6 – 7:30 PM on the varsity softball field. Cost is $40 total for all four sessions. Clinic dates are: February 3, 10, 17, and 24.

Instruction will be done by new high school head softball coach Haley Janzer and members of the varsity softball team. While in high school, Janzer was a 2-time CIF champion and was selected to the all-state team three times. She is a former NCAA Division 1 athlete and started every game in her career for nationally-ranked Fresno State. She is a three-time all-conference player, four-time academic all-conference, and Academic All-American. She led the team each year in runs, batting average, and on-base percentage. She has a .358 career college batting average and is ranked in the top 10 all-time at Fresno State in triples.
