Highway 101 lane closures continue 

Update Oct. 17, 2014: A pavement crack sealing operation on U.S. Highway 101 in Atascadero will result in the following lane closures next week:

• The No. 2 (right) lane of northbound U.S. Highway 101 will be closed from Traffic Way off-ramp to Santa Rosa Rd. off-ramp on Monday, Oct. 20, Tues, Oct. 21 and Thursday, Oct. 23 during the daytime hours from 9 am until 2 pm. This road work will include intermittent daytime on/off ramp closures from Traffic Way to Santa Rosa Rd.

Electronic message boards will advise motorists about this road work. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) will ensure a safe condition for everyone. Motorist delays should not exceed 20 minutes.

Update Oct. 10, 2014: A pavement crack sealing operation on U.S. Highway 101 in Atascadero will result in the following lane closures next week:

• The No. 2 (right) lane of U.S. Highway 101 will be closed intermittently in both directions from Del Rio Road to Vineyard Drive beginning Monday evening Oct. 13 through Friday morning, Oct. 17 during the overnight hours from 7 pm until 5:30 am. This road work will include intermittent overnight on/off ramp closures at Vineyard Drive and San Ramon Road.

• The northbound No. 2 (right lane) of U.S. Highway 101 at the State Route 41 Interchange is tentatively scheduled to be closed on Thursday, Oct. 16 during the overnight hours from 7 pm until 5:30 am.

Update Oct. 3, 2014: A pavement crack sealing operation on northbound U.S. Highway 101 in Atascadero will result in the following lane/ramp closures next week:

  • The No. 2 (right) lane of northbound U.S. Highway 101 will be closed from the State Route 41 Interchange to Del Rio Road on Monday, Oct. 6 and Tuesday, Oct. 7 from 9 am until 2 pm. The northbound on/off-ramps at San Anselmo Road will also be closed on an intermittent basis.
  • The northbound U.S. Highway 101 on-ramp at Rosario Road will be closed on Thursday, Oct. 9 from 9 am until 2 pm.

  • The No. 2 (right) lane of southbound U.S. Highway 101 will be closed from San Ramon Road to San Anselmo Road on Monday, Sept. 29 and Tuesday, Sept. 30 from 9 am until 2 pm. There will also be intermittent closures of the southbound Del Rio Road on/off-ramps.
  • The No. 2 (right) lane of northbound U.S. Highway 101 will be closed from San Anselmo Road to San Ramon Road on Wednesday, Oct. 1 and Thursday, Oct. 2 from 9 am until 2 pm. There will be intermittent northbound ramp closures at these locations.

roadsOriginal report: A crack sealing operation on southbound U.S. Highway 101 in Atascadero will result in the following lane closures this week:

  • The No. 2 lane of southbound U.S. Highway 101 will be closed from Traffic Way to Curbaril Avenue on Monday, Sept. 22 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. There will be intermittent ramp closures of the southbound Traffic Way on-ramp, the Hwy. 41 on/off ramps and a tentative closure of the southbound Curbaril Road off-ramp for a very short duration.
  • The No. 2 lane of southbound U.S. Highway 101 will be closed from San Anselmo Road to Traffic Way on Wednesday, Sept. 24 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. There will be intermittent southbound ramp closures at these locations.
  • The No. 2 lane of southbound U.S. Highway 101 will be closed from Del Rio Road to San Anselmo Road on Thursday, Sept. 25 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. There will be intermittent ramp closures at these locations. No two consecutive ramps will be closed at the same time within the project area.

Electronic Message Boards will be posted to inform the public about this road work. The California Highway Patrol will be present to ensure a safe condition for everyone. Motorists can expect a delay not to exceed 20 minutes.
