– Republican Assemblyman Katcho Achadjian has received the endorsement of the California Association of Highway Patrolmen, for his 2016 congressional race.

The California Association of Highway Patrolmen represents thousands of CHP officers across the state. “Both the active and retired members of the CAHP are sincerely appreciative of having the opportunity to work with Katcho on issues affecting law enforcement, the California Highway Patrol and the citizens of California, and we would like to officially endorse his candidacy for the 24th Congressional District,” stated CAHP President Doug Villars.

“Through Katcho’s actions, he has demonstrated a real concern for the safety of the public and the members of our Association,” added CAHP Chief Executive Officer Carrie Lane.

“It is a tremendous honor to receive this endorsement,” Achadjian said. “Thousands of law enforcement officers put their lives at risk every day to protect and serve communities across our state. As a local small businessman and resident of the Central Coast, I know firsthand the importance of keeping our neighborhoods safe. I am proud to earn this endorsement.”

Katcho Achadjian is running for the 24th Congressional District which encompasses Santa Barbara County, San Luis Obispo County, and part of Ventura County. Also running for the seat: Republican Justin Fareed, Democrat Santa Barbara Mayor Helene Schneider, Democrat Salud Carbajal, and Democrat William Ostrander.

Achadjian currently lives in San Luis Obispo with his family.
