Mark and Kandy Simmons, owners of Hoover’s Beef Palace, were recognized for their years of support and service to Templeton schools and youth, as well as the town of Templeton, on Tuesday night at the Templeton Community Services District (TCSD) Board of Directors meeting.

Hoover’s, well-known for its TACO FEED fundraisers and generosity to the community, closed Sunday due to the sale and upcoming development of the Templeton Livestock Market property.

The recognition was a joint presentation between TCSD and the Templeton Unified School District (TUSD).
