Housing Authority elects new leadership

The Housing Authority of the City of Paso Robles has elected Bob Fonarow as the new Chairman and Sheri Goforth as the new Vice-Chairman for 2014. Dick Willhoit is the outgoing chairman and will continue his service as a Board Commissioner. Steve Sylvester, has retired from the Board after eight years of accomplished service.

The City of Paso Robles City Council has appointed three new members to the seven member Board. They are Harry Ovitt, Beatriz Espinoza and Jack Boonstra, who is a new tenant commissioner. Sherry Bragg continues as a tenant commissioner.

The housing authority is currently rebuilding the Oak Park Community, a Paso Robles affordable housing community, located from 28th to 34th Streets, between Park Street and Railroad Street. Phase One, a newly constructed 80 unit family affordable housing complex is nearing completion.
