Letter: Thank you for hosting candidate forum
To the editor,
I would like to express my sincere thanks to the Latino Outreach Council, the League of Women Voters and Life Community Church in Templeton for staging the very professionally run First District Candidates Forum on April 7. The two-hour program featured the candidates answering questions from the audience asked by a distinguished panel of local residents. The evening was cordial and informative and I thoroughly enjoy the opportunity to bring important issues out before the voting public.

Forums such as these are so very valuable in educating the public on the positions of candidates regarding these critical local issues and I am grateful to those who took the time and effort to present this even.
