Library to host three family-fun activities in April
The Paso Robles City Library will be hosting three family-friendly activities in April.
• Family movie afternoon, Thursday, April 9, 2 p.m., Library Conference Room. “Hop on into the Library” for an animated Easter-themed comedy in which the Easter Bunny’s teenage son heads to Hollywood, determined to become a drummer in a rock ‘n’ roll band. Rated PG.
• Free art classes, Wednesday, April 8, 2 to 4 p.m. Library Conference Room. Artist Sue Taylor will lead a free spring break art lesson for children ages 8-12, focusing on the techniques of neo-realism and abstract art. Space for the class is limited to 25 participants and pre-registration is required.
• April is National Poetry Month: create a poetry flag at the Library. Children, teens, and adults are invited to create a poetry flag in honor of National Poetry Month, to be displayed in the Library during the month of April. Materials available while they last.
